Ryan May, DDS
Dr. May is a highly talented prosthodontist who began his dental career while volunteering in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Following dental school, he was accepted into an intense 3 year prosthodontic specialty residency where he trained with world-renowned instructors on the most difficult and detailed aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. As a perpetual learner, Dr. May pursued additional expertise and became a Certified Dental Technician. He is a dental ceramist with an artistic eye and enjoys challenging cases, esthetics, and dental implants. Prior to moving to Monterey, Dr. May spent four years working in Boston where he and his wife started their branch of the family tree. They are the proud parents of two sons and two daughters, who have only renewed Dr. May’s enthusiasm and energy for life. His family moved back home in 2018 and Monterey Peninsula Dental Group is thrilled to have him as a valuable resource to you for the decades to come. He served as a military reservist in the Army National Guard for 9 years, prefers to talk about the heart of college football over professional sports, and he will be found on many evenings searching for the best ice cream shops in the Monterey area.
