Dr. Meckler received his Dental degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1990.  He spent six years practicing general dentistry in Northern California.  Dr. Meckler completed a two year post graduate hospital residency in Endodontics at the V.A. Medical Center in Long Beach, California in 1998.  In 1999, he became a partner in the Monterey Peninsula Dental Group.

Dr. Meckler is married and has a son.  He enjoys outdoor activities including snow skiing, scuba diving, tennis, biking, and camping.

Dr. Meckler has had extensive training in advanced microsurgical techniques in Endodontics.  He is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the California Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Monterey Bay Dental Society.
